Merkur 34C DE razor는 heavy duty의 줄임말인 “HD”로도 애호가들에게 불리는데 지난 80년동안 묵직한 무게감으로 호평을 얻어왔다. 하지만 Merkur 34C는 어떠한 클래식 면도기보다 부드러운 면도결과를 보인다는 soulful한 측면도 가지고 있다. 그 덕분에 Merkur 34C HD Razor는 세계에서 가장 많이 팔리는 안전면도기중 하나로 탁월한 절삭력을 가진 최고급 품질의 면도기로 간주되고 있으며 모든 종류의 피부와 수염에 적합하다. MATERIAL

헤드 부분은 zinc die-casting process로 제작되는데 매우 정밀한 가공 허용치를 확보할 수 있고 복잡한 형상을 만들 수 있기때문이다. 편안한 무게 배분을 위해 청동(brass) 소재로만 핸들을 만든다. 크롬 도금처리로 마무리되어 부식(corrosion)을 방지하고 고품질 디자인을 더욱 들어내준다.
