Gillette Platinum Light Blue version with platinum treated edges - regarded on the shaving forums as an excellent blade,  successor to the old Gillette Platinum known as the "Gillette Swede", superior to the Gillette Platinum in Dark Blue & White Box. Historically, both versions of Gillette Platinums have been produced simultaneously for at least 9 years, the White/Light Blue box has been distributed in Western Europe while the Dark Blue & White Platinum is distributed in Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern countries.

- Platinum treated edges - Laser etched “Gillette” with two arrows (Dark Blue Platinums have different etching)

A new Gillette Platinum DE blades from the St. Petersburg plant in Russia. These blades are supposedly exactly the same as the legendary and vintage Gillette Swede blades that you have heard so much about. The blades are incredibly sharp, smooth, comfortable and durable. They are probably a touch less sharp than Feather blades but -they are infinitely smoother and more durable. 

Sold in boxes of 50, these blades are hard to come by. Be sure to grab some while we can still get them.
